Why a service may reject a virtual number

Some apps block virtual or online numbers. Learn what this means before buying another number.

Short answer

Numsify gives you a real number for the verification, but the target app decides whether it accepts that number for sign-up or login.

Step-by-step guide

  1. 1Confirm you selected the correct service in Numsify.
  2. 2Confirm the country code matches the number format requested by the target app.
  3. 3If the target app says the number is not valid, do not keep resending codes to the same number.
  4. 4Try another country if the service supports it and you still need verification.
  5. 5Contact support with the service name, country, and error text if the issue continues.

Important notes

A rejected number does not always mean the number is broken. The target service may simply not accept numbers from that range.
Numsify cannot force Telegram, WhatsApp, or another app to accept a number.
If the number was not usable, cancel it before the 20-minute window ends to get the price back.
