- Some countries are accepted more readily by Telegram than others. If a number is rejected, try a different country.
- Don’t request many codes in a row on the same number; Telegram may slow down further attempts.
Need the number for longer?
Verification numbers are for receiving the sign-up or login code. Telegram can ask for a code again later, so enable Two-Step Verification right after signing in. If you need the same number for months, a rented number is the better fit, though local rental numbers aren’t guaranteed to work for social app verification.
