Rental periods and renewal

Rent for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year from your rental balance. See how renewal works.

Short answer

You pay the selected period up front from your rental balance. When that period ends, the number renews for the same plan length from the same balance.

Step-by-step guide

  1. 1Each country's rental page shows the periods and prices available for it.
  2. 2Choose 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year and pay that total from your rental balance.
  3. 3Auto-renew is on by default. Three days before the period ends, the number renews for the same plan length if your rental balance covers that plan's price.
  4. 4Turn Auto-renew off at checkout or on the number's page if you don't want it to renew. The number then stays active until the end of the period and is released.
  5. 5Your number renews on the platform you rented it on: web rentals renew on the web, App Store rentals through the App Store, and Google Play rentals through Google Play.
  6. 6To renew a web rental early, open the number in My rented numbers on the web and choose Renew.

Important notes

Keep enough rental balance before the renewal date so the number isn't interrupted.
Numbers on an app subscription renew through Apple or Google and are managed in your store account, not on the web.
